Princess Castle

I have a tendency to take an (unintentional) break around the holidays. I just get busy with boutiques, orders from the shop, and, ya know, the actual holidays. And this year I also had my sisters' wedding (yay!!), a week-long trip, and other things taking up my time and distracting me. So by the time it was all over, I was a bit burnt out and needed a break! Well, I'm finally getting around to posting again.

I got the chance to do a few custom orders recently, which are always fun because I get to make something new! One of them was for a mom whose daughters already had some princess puppets, but she saw that I had a castle and wanted one for the puppets she already had. But she asked if I could make it a little more "girly."

So here's what I came up with:

The original looked a bit more like a fortress castle, so I added the turrets in purple, extra flags in pink of course, and some glitter for good measure. I think it turned out pretty cute! Still simple (and functional! It's a pouch with a magnet to hold the puppets), but definitely a girly princess castle.

I'm excited to share the other puppet sets I've been working on lately, and some other fun stuff. However, I make no promises as to when I'll actually post again! Hopefully it'll be less than two months this time!
